So, the colour version of my little merman is online. Hope you (yes, you, there, who is reading that now) like it...
I had to put the tablet instead of the mouse on my computer (only two usb ports and my iPhone is hooked for updates and such... well, at least it gets me used to the tablet.
I will do Yo(mi/me)ko next, and for some reason, I want to try with dragons next (did I hear a laugh?). I have some good reading about drawing chibis and such too.

So, Doctor Who... (Non spoilery post)
I did not watch it yesterday, instead recorded it and will watch it whenever I get a real moment of calm... I still saw pics / was spoiled / ... against my will. Why do people post spoilers without warning (be it on Twitter, Facebook, ...) when they know not everyone, or even a majority, of their contacts cannot watch it at once? (I loved Colin Baker's twitter warning, by the way: "The first tweeter to send a Dr Who spoiler before I see it tomorrow will face the wrath of Sixie. Can't watch it till daughters come home." I got the smallest box from the new Lego Space sets: the astronaut and his vehicle
Tired but not unhappy
Yeah, that is my main "state" those days. Emilie keeps me up 'till late in the night (which is why I post at such strange hours), and Matthieu wakes me up rather early... So I am a bit... strike that... a lot tired. But morale is good. Matt is being very nice this week, and Emilie does her best when her teeth do not hurt too much, so all good.
I got new Legos (you might have guessed seeing the SUV), and got news my two Bricklink orders have shipped. I hope to get them next week (one from Germany, and the other from... err... USA I think). They contain parts like propellers (for Ol), torsos (for me), hair pieces (for me), train wagons couplin
Bad day, bad night, bad... you get the idea.
Emilie was sick (in my hair), and Matt very misbehaved. Luckily for me, my hubby came back with two series 1 minifigs, and two series 3 minifigs.
I got two fishermen... not very useful... but also a magician (yay, smoking! and hairpiece! and...) and a bandit (pistols! trousers! yay again!!) :) so my day finished in a better way than it began.
I also tried Sherlock BBC and am working on a few british series (Jonathan Creek, ...)
A nice deal...
I buy minifigs / small Lego boxes, take the parts I want, and give the rest to Ol and Matt. Everyone seems happy with this agreement :P
Oh, did anyone in Switzerland buy series 3 minifigurines, and got the tenniswoman or the pilot when he/she wanted an elf ? If yes, I am very willing to trade... one elf for each! Drop me a word, or better, a private message.
And do not hesitate to comment on the pictures to ask for information on the parts used, to give me your advice on my choices, or even just because you are a whovian fan!

I'm really glad that you're drawing. ^^ I have a very good book that you may like, it's called "Dessinez avec le cerveau droit". It helps you understand the whole drawing process, and how to "train" your "drawing mode". I can lend it to you next time I'm in Fribourg, if you're interested.
